I haven't updated this space in a really long time, so whadduuuuup! This is another one of those pointless posts, because I have nothing to do LOL.

Resentment, because everytime I go on a spiel about how I'll never touch gross mac food again seeing as I've stuffed myself with cheeseburgers all my life, I end up going back. Wtheck! Everything just looks so generic and wtf their burgers look so perfect! How can something that looks that perfect be constructed in the span of sixty seconds and look that good? Even barbie dolls take longer to make. But yes, I grudgingly admit I do get cravings for their hotcakes and egg mc muffins and sausage mc muffins and shit like that.  Because I am an imperfect human, and as you know, few humans can resist the charms of a fast food restaurant that sells stuff that cheap and still tastes okay-ish. The most cray thing is, I'm talking about a restaurant that uses an M for its logo and a freakin' clown for a mascot and has still turned out a global success, and a growing one at that. Doesn't their formula sound a bit ridiculous when put in writing? So bloody unfair and unavoidable, pfft. And where's my restraint? Hahahaha sheesh can't believe I just typed a whole paragraph on mac(s)! I still love it tho so I'm a hypocrite fml

NEW UMU SOMETHING SOMETHING burger oh gosh it is blooody good. Omgosh. I'm absolutely in love with it. Grilled tomato and some nice chilli meat sauce thingy in a cheese burger! Gosh I'm so gluttony why am I talking about food at this hour?? HAHA

Charlie Brown Café:

Everything was pretty ex but the sandwiches are good!! I love focaccia bread so. If you don't know what to get me for my birthday, this is a good start *HINT* Get me five loaves or something! Or bake me some. Oh, not bake hahahaha inside joke that's not too hard to guess. Sorry for incoherence! It's 11:33pm I should be sleeping! I hate waking up early.

On a side note, it's so hard to believe I'm already in my third year and final sem (hopefully?! fingers crossed!!) My results are out tmrw i.e. in approximately 6 hours.  So yes, I have 360 minutes to calm myself down. Assure myself my GPA isn't gonna hit an all-time low ("dear maria, count me in" -for some reason, I still find myself listening to Click 5/Click Five?, Sugarcult and other teeny boppy songs JUST BECAUSE. Hahaha. And if you're judging me, who still makes Call Me Maybe jokes? Who!)

I don't wanna jinx things but at this stage it's honestly too late whether or not I've said my prayers, so I'll just have to wait in impatience and see. 

Anyway! Hmmm what other updates do I have let me rack my brain umm.

Internship's been going okay so far! Watching shows, getting stuck on trashy chick lit courtesy of a certain *cough* cat, discussing the merits of Fifty Shades-total untouched territory! Can you imagine? hahahaha-and snacking on marshmallows and biscuits and red Rock Deli chips/anything that's passed around the office lol.

It's still early days, but 4 days in and I honestly just feel like dying at some points. I feel like I've just been passed a 107-days jail sentence. I know, why did I count right?! The fuck. Haha I spent the whole morning watching eps of Awkward and Don't Trust The B- and cutting up mags like Catalog and Campus to decorate my pinboard cos those mags are the kind that are only enjoyable at first read. 

So, that about sums up my awesome week. Or four-seventh of it, really, because tomorrow's FRIDAY!!! WEEKENDS! My favourite day of the week is arriving.. along with my results. Okay the end, enjoy the food pics and salivate away!

Food Paradise

Hellllo again! Haha this is gonna be a terribly long-winded and/or boring post, depending on my mood. I'm in a good mood tho. So yay for all you nonexistent readers!!! What darlings you are for sticking around. 

As the title suggests, yes this post is gonna be all about... drumroll*...

..FOOD!!

Anticlimactic much hahahahah. But it's my fave topic so yaaaay! And sucks to be you if you don't look food \o/

So, anyone who knows me/ knows me well enough-will know how much I adore anything that can be eaten. Happy Together by Turtles is like, the ultimate anthem for me when it comes to food:

See, just like me and food. Hahahaha geez I sound so greedy.

Anw! Aside from peas, eggplant, capsicums, mutton,  lobsters, sashimi, frogs, b/mustard, kiwis and pineapples (allergic to them in uncooked form but it's okay, cos I never really enjoyed the taste of pineapples anw so I haven't missed out on anything! And most kiwis I've tried are too sour for my liking. Makes me think of puckered faces)-ermm, okay now that I've typed out it sounds like I'm damn picky when it comes to food haha-I love everything else! 

Hot chocolate:

Little known fact to many, I'm sure: this beats Starbucks' hot choc any day. It's served warm so it doesn't scald the tongue, and it's a lot more affordable! Around $3.20-ish, if I remember right. That's half the price of Starbucks' shitty not-as-nice-in-comparison HC!!! Lol sorry, I've been trying to save money lately so I sound like a freakin' scrooge. Oh well.

At least I'm getting paid for my internship~ and if I work for Comex, then yay mo' money! Moneymoney come to me I need you for clothes and food and shit. Haha yes I sound materialistic stop rubbing it in my face! I know happiness can be derived in other forms, like laughing and chatting with awesome sweet people. But sometimes you need money to e.g. get the freshest air possible! Like paying 20 bucks to get into those domes at Gardens By The Bay. So damn pretty btw *__* I want to go again! Anyone who'd like to sponsor me? No? Okay.

And nope I'm not done ranting about the perks of shopping hahahaha. I think it's a different experience and gives me a lot of happiness cos it boosts my endorphins and can make me feel better. Sometimes even window shopping makes me happy, just looking at everything shiny and packaged and pretty. Okay, I'm an aesthetically-inclined kinda person. Usually though I prefer quiet bookshops and quaint food joints to crowded, loud places.

Met lazymird the other day and went to 112 (? the Katong Mall?) for a jaunt and ended up getting this-

Chicken rice from Wee Nam Kee!

Apparently it's like a huge deal and there's almost always a queue! But aiyah it tasted only alright. The thing I liked best was how fluffy and yummy the rice was. Gimme Five Star Hainanese Chicken Rice anyday! Kampung chicken tastes so much better hehehe and I don't care if their rice is oilier. Matches my face LOL #self-derogatory 

A bigass monster-sized scone!!

It doesn't look big here but that's cos I was lazy to take it out of the paper bag and just stuffed my phone into the opening hahaha. But it's about one and a half times the size of the *average* human palm and can feed two-and-a-half hungry Beckys in one meal. So that's really good! Whoohooo

And I think it was an orange cranberry scone. Honestly, they should come up with better names for flavoured scones cos it doesn't seem to do the snack justice at all. Like, I don't know. Zesty cranberry teatime scones? Oh but they sell this all day! And zesty reminds me of that soap, Zest. No one would feel like eating it cos they'd be thinking of soap and bubbles. Hahaha wtf I am a hypocrite. But anywayz I think the scones at Foster's/Marmalade Pantry are much, much better. This one's too big to be appetising, and too dry cos it doesn't come with butter/strawberry jam!! How can you serve a scone without jam? That's just wrong. I'm full of angst today LOL

I was feeling pretty down in the dumps on Tues, so I was really happy that I got to meet up with belly and wonsies for Buddy Hoagies!!

My super gross minestrone soup that looked more like curry than soup cos it was filled with so much oil and shit. The worst part was how bland it tasted. Oh well, at least I had a Belly there to slurp up all the noodles in the most unusual way, managing to make the rest of us lose our appetites hahaha.

And omg what am I doing blogging I should be studying oh gosh fml. Mushroom soup was okay. Garlic bread was ~hand-wave~ hahahaha average too! I took the smallest piece without realising and started complaining LOL.

My black pepper chicken was good! Came with mac and cheese (bright orange, defug how do you eat something that's that colour? I can't even)

The baked rice was yummy! But the only qualm I have is, how is that baked rice? I mean, really! It's just rice with onions and diced carrots, all nice and compact but in no way baked. Hahaha I'm so anal. 

And the rice kind of reminds me of the yummy rice from Sugar Bun in Kuching so I ate it all up! Hehe pig oink

Ah but overall, the food was mediocre/forgettable and the service was shiteous. Have you ever had a waitress say, "Can I take your order?" and walk off without waiting for an answer? Wtf! Oh I hear One Singapore playing on tv now hahaha. HAPPY NATIONAL DAY SINGAPORE! I don't always love you, but I do every 9th August ^_^ I just like watching the parade and everything cos the performers look so carefree and happy. Watched the NDP preview the other week too and it was cray kinds of awesome!

Lectures day:

Alleycat gave me a whole box of butterfingers!!! Dream come true omg <3 Marilyn ended up having one quarter of the packet and Avril had one and then I had another four or five pieces lolol. But it's so good! Get the gluten-free version from Candy Empire, today! *announcer voice* 

Ice cream, only $1.60 a scoop from Unilever's office. Awesome. Wish I'd enrolled in social media strategies omgg. I wanna press a button and get free Wall's ice cream and pay $1.60 for socially conscious ice cream too!! ):

Wendy's with the girls at Holland V! I was contemplatng skipping medlaw but in the end I went, like the (damn) good student that I am.  Hahahaha fine, it was only cos I'd already gotten the warning email for skipping too many times. 

Bought mini donuts for medlaw! (: WHOOO FOOD MAKES ME SO HAPPY 

Coffee Bean's Cookies and Cream Ice-Blended is so mindblowingly yummy hehehe I had it three consecutive days in a row. Their muffins are good too!

Omfg time flies.

hellooo non-existent readers! Hahaha anywayz sorry for not updating this space in a shiteously long time!! It's gonna be 1:50 and I'm supposed to leave for town now so I can meet lazymird~ Yaaaay, feels like I haven't seen him in a long time! Okay so yes this entry is completely pointless sorry. If anything it's just to assure my readers (huh, so no one??) that I'm still alive LOL.

Obama, Hair Chalking and Almond Flake Pastries

Watch these! Oh and my uncle and aunt came down from hk and bought my fave almond flake pastries!! And other stuff but the highlight's clearly the ALMOND FLAKE PASTRIES. I've already eaten 8 or 9, lost count unfortunately. I can't stop eating them urghh fml hahaha. I havent' taken a pic but I will soon! They're the lightest flakiest crispiest things ever. Okay verrry sleep deprived now.  Belly and I are gonna try chalking our hair tmrw in Munch! Elaine's gonna be our ~hairchalker #lousyterms101

The Month of April!

I am reallly really super unhappy with this blog! Not because it's dead cos it IS (hahahaha) but because too many people I know have access to it!! Urghh I need to get a new blog soon or some unknown, indecipherable url so I can post whatever I like hehehe. 

Anywayzss this is the stuff I brought back from kuching! Yes you can see lots of bubblegum/chewing gum and the usual shit etc. All my favourites! 

I wish i could keep them for myself. But no, thou shalt give. For giving is better than receiving. Geez I sound damn confucius-ish today. Sorry! Hyped up. Hahaha. I should give myself a slap or something cos school's starting, so noo I shouldn't be hyped up or happy at all! Wtf's wrong with me ): And how do you spell Confucius?! oh I got enrolled in the crappiest of all modules too. I wanted to take it at first but now I've changed my mind cos I'm fickle-minded like that LOL. I want creative writing so badly! Gaw life is so unfair sometimes. I sound so whiny today, I hope I'm not affecting anyone's mood if you're reading this! Ahhaha.

Everytime I get people presents/souvenirs it's always stuff I love and would eat curry for (I hate curry so yes, I think I'm making sense. Hahahah). So giving it away becomes hard and I end up buying double of every. bloody. thing.

Oh yes and *we're back to Bashful again* Humpty's birthday was coming up, and being completely clueless and the supermegashitty gift-buyer that I am, I decided to give him this dwarf as one of his presents! Not suggesting he's a dwarf btw. Hahaha he's too damn tall to be one! I'm closer to a dwarf's height than him. It really sucks to be short. The only height advantage I have is I'm on an entirely diff eye level from taller ppl so when they walk past me all they see is the top of my head. This is good for checking out different kinds of people lol. And I'm not a paedo/pervert/being creepy! ohh and short us can wear heels without towering over guys! Soo many plus points. #Proudtobepetite (:

Anw since I had no idea how to giftwrap the figurine without it breaking/hobo guessing what it is, I bubblewrapped dwarfy and stuffed it into my Ritz bitz tub! See-

Then I added strips of recycled paper to cushion it SAVE THE EARTH!! I was watching glee when I took this so lea michele looks damn shocked ahhaha. Her face is all, "What have you done?!" Not funny? It's okay I find it funny! Sheesh, proves my point how narcissistic I am ahhahah. But it worked btw! He opened it and said with (*fake?) excitement,"Ohh, Ritz!!!"

 All birthday boy's presents! Spent forever on his card cos I used glitter and scratch and sniff popcorn stickers heheh. I love anything sparkly! Like a freaking jackdaw. I think I have bird genes lolol. That's no good!! Dumbasses are usually referred to as birdbrained and I am in no way part of that category! Hahahaha okay I should stop hahaha-ing. I'm annoying myself.

Also in the pic, choc chip cookies (underbaked cos I was rushing! Mad lousy baking skills but he still said they were delicious, what a lie. This is how you make someone happy! Don't be blatantly honest cos honesty isn''t always the best policy. Do I sound thought-provoking and philosophical enough? Haha yayayaaay)

Then! Found this among my Christmas presents from last year from my aunt. Better gift buyer than I'll ever be, I swear ^ ^ Anyhway I decided to try it on, just for fun.

Wait I digress for a few seconds--look! Found my old stash of rotting lipsmackers and other stuff. 

They still smell good even tho the lipglosses have turned brown, so instead of throwing them out I decided that heeeck, Imma keep them anyway. Such a hoarder! I'm ashamed. Haha. I hope I dont become one of those hoarders when I'm old. The kind that keeps cardboard boxes and even used disposable chopsticks omggg

Hahah there actually isn't a drastic change but it really looks good irl. And I didn't buff or whatever before that but it still turned out nice! Very happy with it. It's been a week and only suffered two tiny chips, which is perfectly fine! (: I NEED MORE OF THESE. Better than my nail painting skills, which are horrrible. I get so much paint on my fingers wtf lol
