Lunched at Double Bay Restaurant last Friday at Raffles City! It's right next to the actual mall, btw. You just have to step out and you'll see it. We were actually walking around, wondering what the hell to have for lunch (Soup Spoon, meh. Hotel buffet, total rip-off. Secret Recipe, um no thanks!) and stepped outside for a moment. And because the restaurant's constructed mainly from glass, we peered in and saw a woman having what looked like the most delicious *fosh ever. So yeah. That's how we ended up lunching at DB.
*fosh= fish and chips, natch!
My fish and chips! We requested more lemon wedges, and the waitress returned with a huge plate of it, LOL.
Fried are nothing without ketchup! So there.
Complimentary tea:
I know most people love coffee, but I just don't get it srsly. What's its appeal, other than the fact that it smells really good? I mean, c'mon! It's bitter and gross. Or maybe I just haven't found the right cup of coffee for me yet. But who gives a damn, I don't want stained teeth anw.
Then Is and I had Soup Spoon yesterday. I know I'm being slightly hypocritical cos I just said Soup Spoon's meh-ish(?Hahaha), but we were craving something warm and yummy, so.
I love how wholesome it tastes:) Plus it totally deceives you into thinking the soups were made by, like, a granny or something, because it's just been infused with so much love. I love the kidney beans, the small chunks of potatoes, the cheese and everything about it except thecabbage. Why on earth would anyone wanna eat the cabbage? Wtf. Okay, I'll stop brainwashing now. Lol
At Page One:
"Hmm.. it's suddenly very dark. Is it going to rain?"
Ahhaha
Picture books are so freaking fab.
On the boardwalk:
Is walked around in the water but I couldn't cos I was wearing my tights! Ohwell.
I love the castle at Universal Studios :D and the pink monorail? Awesssome
Yigloo!
Okay and -this is really quite funny- we bought Barbie movie vcds from one of the shops at Vivo!
