This is kind of overdue but since we took too many pics(and since I'm lazy to do up a long lengthy entry which, anw, who would read? I hate reading wordy entries except from my favourite blogs) I'll post it in parts.
Everyone who blogs about their trip to Disneyland/ Ocean Park/ Universal Studios begins with a pic of the entrance. Which is not unusual but super predictable. So, I'm just gonna be predictable:
One of the first things we saw when we entered was..
Frankenstein! The person pretending to be him did a wicked awesome job; he looked suoer gloomy everywhere he went and walked with a slump like he'd just lost his lover or sth( is frankenstein supposed to have a lover?Lol) And fine it was his mask that made him look sad and grumpy but it was super fun watching that! He kept walking around slowly, like he was in a My life means nothing to me anymore!NOTHING!! kind of funk. Love him!
I honestly salute everyone who works as a mascot/ anything else that requires you to get in costume cos it really got so bloody hot. Can you imagine doing that every day? I would have panic attacks cos the costume would make me feel stifled and claustrophobic (especially if you're frankenstein or woody the woodpecker!) I wouldn't last a day. And Is and I had to watch all kinds of shows with air-conditioning(my favorite thing on a hot day!) and drink ice-cold water to cool down.
Monster Rock:
Btw it sounds and looks awesome from the outside but it was a disappointment. Super amateurish with deafeningly loud music and a sucky sound system that rocked the whole theatre in the wrong kind of way. My ears were ringing when we left so you can pretty much just imagine. Tbh the theatre was probably filled up cos it's situated near the entrance of US and it was so hot that day, you couldn't walk into the sunshine without breaking out in a sweat. So everyone who walked past the theatre probably was thinking, A Musical=Air con!! and decided to watch the it. And you could tell they put it an effort and tried to make it worth watching-they were so energetic and enthusiastic!-but it fell short. Hahaha that's kinda mean of me I guess, but I'm not offending the actors intentionally! I'm just saying.
Random guy looking at my cam
Maybe he likes pink- and if he does, yay you random guy! It's pretty much a guarantee that anyone who loves pink is a good(or at least decent) person! And I'm not being biased. Fine, anyone who loves magenta pink/ ice cream pink/ deep purple/ coral/ yellow/ orange/ white/ red/all eight choices is a good person! In my boat anw. Ahhaha
Puss in Boots stuffed toy doing his classic I'm-Innocent pose à la in Shrek 2,3 and 4:
Classic! Makes you wanna just buy him and bring him home.Fortunately for me, I'm made of stronger stuff! I don't melt when I see cat-eyes but mainly because I prefer dogs. (:
Owl keychains:
I'm personally not a fan, but I've always been smitten with anything adorable/furry(except Puss in boots!! Yes he's cute but I don't love him the way I love dogs/harp seals/polar bears in any form)
Anyway, I googled owl jokes and now I'm sharing them!
Q: Why were the mommy and daddy owls worried about their son?
A: Because he didn't seem to give a hoot anymore.
And another one:
Knock knock Who's there? Owl. Owl who? Owl be sad if you don't love me anymore.
LOL the jokes are lame ttm! And not funny at all, oh well. Owls are not very funny creatures anw. :( Except some species can turn their heads 360 degrees which is disgusting or useful, depending which way you look at it. I vote disgusting!
If you actually found those owl jokes funny then you're creepy but you can read more owl jokes here!
Fake-tall!:
End of Part I!And just in case you're hungry:
