Easter!!

Pics from the HOP game! Play it here. I love anything that reminds me of Easter :D

Watching Beauty & The Beast on Disney now. Haven't watched it in ages! I'd forgotten how good it is. And the Beast? Totally sweet to Belle! Even tho he was mega ferocious initially and scared the crap outta me. Lol

Oh, and we did something totally fun the other day: we went to Snow City! We paid sixteen bucks a pop for an hour, which is kind of expensive, but I really wanted to see snow, fake as it is. We were provided Ugg boots(!!I KNOW!) much to my delight. I freaking love Uggs! (Y)

Unfortunately for me, I'd brought fingerless gloves. Eventually I ended up pairing them with A's leather one. My fingers were SO numb from the cold, I literally thought they were gonna drop off because of frostbite wth. So! Never wear fingerless gloves in 1 degree celcius weather. Your fingers will thank you for it.  Also, the entire place is pretty small, but (fake) snow is plentiful, so we found ourselves slipping tons of times. And we slid down the mini snow hill! You're basically supposed to grab a black rubber tube(sort of like a car tyre, but lighter), go to the top of the hill and be pushed down by one of the staff. I freaked out when I saw how steep it looked when we'd reached the top, and when they pushed us down, I screamed cos I really thought I was gonna die. Everyone else who went down didn't even shriek or anything. They just shot the cameras a practiced smile/the peace sign, which pissed me off. How come no one's scared of stuff like that except me? Haha I'm a total chicken.

Then we tried making snow angels, but the snow went inside our gloves wtf! It was so bloody cold, but so much fun. I am definitely gonna travel to NZ/Canada/Switzerland or somewhere with proper snow next time.

Had hot choc, potato wedges and cotton candy(A's; I hate cotton candy! Like I know it looks purdy and soft and tempting lol, but how can anyone eat that? It dissolves into sugar. Gross much) after that:

     Yummyummy

Okay, back to Hop! The way to his heart is through cake!

Just look at his expression! *Melts faster than (disgusting) cotton candy* I love this guy:)

And one final pic:

I SET HOP AS MY WALLPAPER!

P.S* I know the rabbit's name probably isn't Hop, but I'm gonna be really thoughtless and just pretend it is. So there.

P/P.S* Watched Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules before going to Snow City, and it was awesome srsly. Like there's a scene where Rodrick and Greg switch the toilet door with the basement one cos Rodrick throws a wild(by the movie's PG standards) party the night before, cos their parents have gone on holiday without them. Then their mum calls up and tells them Manny(their youngest brother)'s taken ill and they're going back home, and Rodrick and Greg realize too late the door they switched doesn't have a lock. So the toilet door no longer has a lock LOL. Omg this is really confusing, but anw, they start panicking:

Rodrick: *whispering* What are we gonna do about the D-O-R-E??
Greg: *blankly* The what?
Rodrick: The D-O-R-E, stupid! The door!!

And the rest of the movie's crammed with lame jokes and unexpectedly funny moments like that one hahahaha. Ohwell, you'll have to watch it to get what I mean!

Sucker Punch

Watched Sucker Punch yesterday!

I'd been looking forward to it cos I love whatever Emily Browning does. Also she looks awesome with blonde hair!

I wish I could get away with it but it only looks good on Caucasians/Rapunzel/Xiaxue, so.

Anyway, the movie srsly didn't live up to anyone's expectations,I think. Except maybe guys LOL

It's basically about how this girl named Violet is raped by her stepdad, who later goes on to kill her younger sis, only to call up the police and push all blame on her. So then she's sent to a girls' hospital for the mentally insane (?Which totally doesn't make sense, cos mental=insane wtf. So I guess mentally insane means insanely insane. Or mentally mental. Omg, it doesn't sound good either way. Sorry for the incoherence ahhaha), which she later discovers is really a place where normal, unwanted duaghters/orphans are sent. All the girls dress like hookers, including their dance teacher. And apparently if they don't dance, they have no use etc. So Violet, who's later called Babydoll, is forced to dance and she enters an alternative world where reality doesn't make sense. Then she battles a lotta freaking annoying megabots and disgusting looking creatures zomg. Way too much action for my liking!
Okay and to add to the disastrously confusing mix, there's the pervertic headmaster who loves watching her dance. I know I'm taking the movie at face value and being super shallow, but that's how I see it *obstinate* lol. And that's my summary! It's shitloads more confusing if you actually watch it.

Time for some ice cream, yumyumyum. Then off to a survey(forty bucks for an hour-long survey!Oh my gosh damn me, I know :D ) and to church.
Toodles!

Double Bay, Soup Spoon, The Boardwalk and Yigloo

The past week has been crammed with stuff every day, phew. Also, totally not in the mood to do up a lengthy post cos I just ate (jap rice with some awesome mix stuff that came in a packet, plus instant miso! Yumyumyum) and practically all these pics are of food wtf. So just look at these pics and drool your heart out! Ahhahah

Lunched at Double Bay Restaurant last Friday at Raffles City! It's right next to the actual mall, btw. You just have to step out and you'll see it. We were actually walking around, wondering what the hell to have for lunch (Soup Spoon, meh. Hotel buffet, total rip-off. Secret Recipe, um no thanks!) and stepped outside for a moment. And because the restaurant's constructed mainly from glass, we peered in and saw a woman having what looked like the most delicious *fosh ever. So yeah. That's how we ended up lunching at DB.

*fosh= fish and chips, natch!

My fish and chips! We requested more lemon wedges, and the waitress returned with a huge plate of it, LOL.

Fried are nothing without ketchup! So there.

Complimentary tea:

I know most people love coffee, but I just don't get it srsly. What's its appeal, other than the fact that it smells really good? I mean, c'mon! It's bitter and gross. Or maybe I just haven't found the right cup of coffee for me yet. But who gives a damn, I don't want stained teeth anw.

Then Is and I had Soup Spoon yesterday. I know I'm being slightly hypocritical cos I just said Soup Spoon's meh-ish(?Hahaha), but we were craving something warm and yummy, so.

I love how wholesome it tastes:) Plus it totally deceives you into thinking the soups were made by, like, a granny or something, because it's just been infused with so much love. I love the kidney beans, the small chunks of potatoes, the cheese and everything about it except thecabbage. Why on earth would anyone wanna eat the cabbage? Wtf. Okay, I'll stop brainwashing now. Lol

At Page One:

"Hmm.. it's suddenly very dark. Is it going to rain?"
Ahhaha

Picture books are so freaking fab.

On the boardwalk:

Is walked around in the water but I couldn't cos I was wearing my tights! Ohwell.

I love the castle at Universal Studios :D and the pink monorail? Awesssome

Yigloo!

Okay and -this is really quite funny- we bought Barbie movie vcds from one of the shops at Vivo!
Mine:

And I don't give a crap, it's not childish or silly. You're never too old to watch a Barbie movie!

Today was ridiculously fun! I'd gotten called back for this focus group thingy after applying for it, so they gave me the location and everything. I arrived super early, so I just kind of sat at the bus stop nearby Whatsapping Is and M, LOL. I love whatsapp btw! It's the freaking best thing that's happened to me cos it literally opens up an entirely different world.

Okay not making much sense but anw. Moving on.

Called J to talk for a little bit after, then made my way to the building. It looks uber nondescript from the outside--sandwiched in the middle of a row of shophouses, all painted crazy cheerful colours like yellow and pink, my absolute favourite! Yay. The focus group wasn't too bad tbh, cos everyone was incredibly nice. Including the staff. I mean, they literally bustled about serving us ice-cold glasses of freshly blended passionfruit juice(yumyumyum omg I'm craving more!) and making sure we were comfortable. I could live there, I swear. After everyone else arrived they led us up to a spacious room, all glass and carpet and bamboo chairs.
And there were individual plates of tempura, sausage wraparounds, mini cupcakes, potato chips and so much else. Including huge jugs filled with more passionfruit juice so we could help ourselves to more. Wtf it was like a mini Heaven. HAHAHA.

Anw we just talked about fast food joints like BK. It was kinduh an extended gabfest except we got paid eighty bucks just for giving our opinions. I ended up talking to E- the most, and we walked to the bus stop after but my bus came so I made a run for it and we didnt get to exchange numbers, ohwell.

Ten to nine-time for my show! Toodles!

P.S. Nigahiga's Honk for Japan intitiative! WATCH IT.

Normally I wouldn't blog on a Saturday, but this is crazy scary and I just had to share it! Credits to M. I love you girl!

I know I'm not a fan of Michael Jackson. Like as much as people insist how great he was, I just don't get it. I mean, his moonwalk was kinda fab but other than that, meh. Okay and I get that I shouldn't judge based on his porcelain/translucent-esque skin but I can't help it, LOL. But I guess I should give him respect where it's due. He changed the music world in a way few could. Okay moving on, this is really boring and pretentious ahhaha.

Anyway. Watch how this girl:

transforms herself into:

and

!!!!

I freaked when I first saw the tuorials!! Srsly she's mega skilled at applying make-up. I actually came up with some theories for her talent, e.g. She ran off from a circus or something cos they are so bloody awesome at applying makeup and giving their stars a chiselled/demure look, depepnding on the characters they are playing, and she'd obviously picked up a thing or two from the make-up artists. To which my younger sis turned away from me, picked up her violin and began playing it to drown out my apparently overimaginative theories wtf. Everyone's always telling me I have an overactive imagination, which is so untrue I think. Lol

And a lot of commentors said she's a tranny etc, but she's totally not!

Okay a step-by-step process of getting the MJ nose:

Tadaaa!

Freaking awesome.
More videos here! Double click on it to watch all the videos. Her Nicki Minaj tutorial is equally good.

Off to PP now,

This has to be some kind of a record. Okay, for me at least. Ever since getting a mac, I've (always, always, and without fail) been using the com every bloody day. I know this sounds ridiculous and rubishy lol, but last week I kind of made a resolution not to use the internet at all. And .. *drumroll* *squeals of fake surprise*..
I did it! I'm so proud. Lazy to do out a long entry as usual, so I'll entertain you with some poor quality pictures guaranteed to elicit some kind of reaction, e.g. "Awww!" or "Um what the shit", depending on whether you like furless small animals with baggy skin(hint!!) and whether you're a girl or guy. Okay, I totally suck at keeping secrets, LOL. I'm ruining the surprise!

Anw. Just look!:

it's a skinny pig!!

"Check me out!"

"yumyumyum"

"Okay leave me alone"

Adorable much!

Lunched at a German restaurant this afternoon! It was awesome, all tall seats and warm yellow lamps that made us feel right at home, and a fab bronze microbrewery smack in the center of the place. It was kind of like a bistro, tbh. Although the air-conditioning seemed to be running on low power or something cos it felt freakin' hot in there. If I could tell restaurant owners one thing, I'd tell them this: don't try saving a couple of bucks by increasing the temperature! It just affects the ambience. Srsly. And I know doing so helps save the environment etc, but it was so so hot out. I just wanted to melt. I mean, we paid for this wth? Ugh.

Bangers and mash!

I know it looks pathetic but the frank furters(fine, sausages) were the most succulent things I've ever tasted. I had one, then another, then another and another. So um yep four in total! They were that good. And I usually struggle to finish a whole sausage, especially when it's one of those sausages made from corn-fed pigs or something. Ew I'm totally grossing myself out, lol. And the mahed potatoes were super yummy with Heinz ketchup. Also, I think I downed a bowlful of ketchup or something. I love ketchup, and Heinz is the bestest best.

Pork knuckles
And no, I didn't eat them. But you probably guessed I didn't given my lack of enthusiasm here :/

Favourite scene from Waterhorse:
watch the first few seconds, the rest is crap ahahah

Time to watch Ratatouille!

Epitome of Epic-ness

N.B. Sorry for inconsistent font! Damn you, blogger.

I'm finally in a blogging mood again so here I go!! Met M- this morning at Newton. She was kinda late cos she overslept (I've always been the late one, never the other way round) so I walked around town. Got kappa maki--best sushi ever!--from Isetan and stared at weird people for ten mins, then took the train to Newton. I love going out early, because that's when people are few and far between and queues(if any) are short. Plus shopkeepers are much friendlier I think! You can actually speak to them like friends cos half of them are still in a groggy state and don't reallly know what the hell they're talking about. HAHAHA.

Anw! I have the bestestest thing ever, right here. I'm not kidding.

If you love Mac D's (cos who doesn't!), you'll wanna lick this right off the screen:

(super anticlimax so pleaseplease don't convulse or something after scrolling down!!)

A 2-FOR-1 McDONALD's OFFER!!

Only you need the coupon, so here it is!

Valid only today, and only in Singapore sorry! M- sent this to me via her phone, so I'm not really sure where she got it from but I think they've got this advertised in the papers and all, so. Nothing special. I just had to share it :D I mean, share the love, natch!
Click on it to enlarge, then print or show them the coupon on yr phone!

Also, if you really wanna push your luck/piss them off, you can take this coupon and rock up to your nearest McDonald's a few minutes before midnight, LOL. The convo's probably gonna go something like:

-11:58pm-
You: *chirpily* Hi!!
Cashier: *crankily*Hai.
You: Can I have 2 cheeseburgers and 2 mc flurries thanks!!!
Cashier: *annoyed at perky voice* That will be eight dollars and--
You: What are you talking about. I have my coupon here, see. *brandishes it at cashier, further pissing him off*
Cashier: Uhm okay but it's already midnight. Not counted, sorry.
You: What do you mean!! I placed my order at 11:58, didn't I? There, it says so on the damn receipt.
Cashier grudgingly goes off to prepare your burgers.

Gee this is a crap example, ahhaha. Moving on.

What Aly and I had at bakerzin the other day:

Our dessert:

A chocolate souffle! It was the most bubbly, light thing. We devoured it in all of five minutes, then talked for another twenty (mainly spent trying to figure out if one of the waiters/waitresses was a girl or guy. Lol)

And! Bought a book from Kino:

Red Riding Hood!

Took it on photobooth so it's inverted, ohwell. Also, ridiculously excited for the movie! I lovve Amanda Seyfried.

Okay abrupt end- I know this is a super short entry but lunch is calling!

Longer, more interesting post soon,

xoxo

P.S* Screw Blogger. My posts are ALL white and disgustingly ugly! And I can't change the size of the fonts. Wtf.

P/P.S* Fixed!!
